The Sweetest Sounds
Sweet P was part of the 90’s explosion of Manchester's club scene featuring regularly at Sankeys, Paradise & Hacienda to name a few. Her style is a lively and heavy mix of soulful jazzy beats, hip hop, funk, rare grooves, soulful house and broken beat. A 2yr Saturday residency at the legendary Home nightclub (1993-5) saw Sweet P guest alongside future stars such as Mr Scruff, Mark Rae and Andy Votel. As a regular host on various pirate radio stations including Frontline and Love Energy, P continued to be an integral part of Manchester’s music scene. Now a little older, wiser and back in her London hometown Sweet P can be found playing our regularly alongside her sisterhood 'Eves’Drop Collective' who most recently played at We Out Here, Wilderness Festival & Between The Bridges.
