Mark de Clive-Lowe

Electronic jazz pioneer and pianist Mark de Clive-Lowe blends acoustic, electronic and world music exploring themes of belonging and identity. Equal parts jazz, house, hip hop and broken beat artist, Jazziz sums him up perfectly - "way before jazz hybridity became a worldwide phenomenon, de Clive-Lowe was busy designing its blueprint.” Mark lives in Los Angeles, is the Founding Artist in Residence for La Ceiba Festival, a recipient of the 2021 U.S.-Japan Creative Artists Fellowship, a Montalvo Arts Lucas Artist Fellow and an active curator, educator and speaker.
