Hailing from Chicago, Shehzad Choudhry, also known by the stage name “Shami Sosa” is a multifaceted film, television, and music producer, as well as a mixed media artist, based in Chicago, IL. With a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for content creation, Shami has collaborated with brands, corporations, public figures, and artists on both local and international stages, earning a reputation as a versatile and innovative force in the media landscape. As a film & television producer, Shami is the lead force behind the Emmy Award-winning “Destination Channel" series, a travel & lifestyle show which airs nationally on CBS. His work in film & television is complemented by his achievements in the music industry, where he has worked in the studio (the legendary Chicago Recording Company) as a producer & assistant engineer for renowned artists such as Chance The Rapper, Jennifer Hudson, Kanye West, Mavis Staples, Lil Durk, The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, and many more. In addition to his production work, Shami Sosa is an up and coming electronic musician and DJ. His performances, including a notable set at the prominent North Coast Music Festival in 2023 solidifies his standing in the national/international music scene as a well-balanced and passionate performing artist.
