Zahra

Zahra is a DJ, host, storyteller, and community builder. Musically she blends a deep and eclectic mix of soul, funk, disco, soul, hip-hop, house from all over the world. Her show Lunar Rotations is a monthly stream and event that brings together music lovers in a record store, featuring DJs and artists sharing their tastes and knowledge with one another. She also hosts The ClairAudioFiles Podcast, which features interviews, research, and discussions relating all things music to the self and community. She regularly travels to DJ, connect with other creatives, research, speak on music community, and dig for records. As a DJ she has played/opened for Cimafunk, Ladysmith Black Mombazo, Jully Black, Soul In The Horn, and more.
