DJ KAT THE KAT-A-LYST

DJKat "The Kat-a-lyst" is a female reggae DJ (or "Selecta") from Coventry, U.K. Known for her dedication to the reggae roots scene, Kat has performed internationally as a solo Selecta and as part of the trio "Sisters in Dub". Her passion for reggae began at age 16 exploring Jamaican music, from roots, lovers rock & sound system culture. Kat has performed with prominent reggae artists, including Carrol Thompson, Ossie Gad, and was personally asked to DJ for the legendary Sir Coxsone.
